In the blink of an eye in 2001, Ben Jackson was forced to stop being a twenty-six-year-old moron and become the father of a critically ill daughter. Through her life and death struggles, his marriage and divorce, and the struggles which come with being the single parent of a disabled child, Ben has learned a thing or two about getting by. In 2015 he lost his home following an extended series of hospitalizations. This blog will range from parenting to politics, reviews to reflection, and hopefully entertain along the way.
Ben’s writing has been featured in WBUR’s Cognoscenti, 50 Word Stories, Screen Rant, The Legendary, Dead Housekeeping, Sessions X, and anywhere else he can con an editor into publishing his dreck. He currently lives in New England with a teenager who still likes him.
